That having been said, I've often stood my ground in the face of popular opinion because I've believed in a principle. That has, on a number of occasions, made me unpopular, and because of it, I've sometimes been shut out of the communities that my stance didn't agree with. I can look myself in the eye in the mirror and not flinch because of it… but there are times that it can be a lonely path.
