Reminds me of me. 20 years ago I was told I will never walk again. It took a year, but I am walking fine. Last year I was told I would not live through the weekend. Well, here I am! Although I do require constant medical care to stay alive, I still work full time, and try to live a normal life. When I look in my mirror, I see a young, healthy kid, that's what keeps me going.
